Collector's Specialty Woods is a lumber company and drying facility located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Southern Colorado. We carry furniture stock including natural edge slabs, figured hardwoods, and burls and also wood for flooring, cabinet stock, native material, and certified green lumber. Our carefully acquired inventory has been hand-selected, and our extended family of sawyers, collectors and woodsmen give us the ability to quickly source special orders.

We offer our customers a personal experience, providing as much guidance as you require, and ensuring that you receive exceptional, educated service; getting you what you need. We carry both domestic and imported species in a variety of grades from premium select and FSC material to local Douglas Fir, and we have extensive experience in acquiring and processing material for large special orders. We have recently begun to work with sustainably harvested lumber, including reclaimed material such as warehouse demolition white oak from Kentucky, northern New Mexican fire mitigation Douglas fir and Wyoming snow fence with its barnwood patina. By working to identify material that is harvested using ecologically sustainable forestry practices, we feel we are able to help them most discerning green conscious client. Our location in southern Colorado also allows us to cut, dry and prepare lumber for use in a dry climate.
